DIOS-MIOS lite - play GC backups from SD card

There has been a guide posted at GBA temp about playing GC ISOs from SD card. The only thing you need to do is install as specially patched cMIOS, convert the ISO to work with the cMIOS, and use the latest version of NeoGamma (or post loader) to boot the game. This may be good for Wii's that cannot read burned DVD media, but installing the DML compatible cMIOS might render backup DVD media unreadable with Wii's that can read GC backup DVDs.

Awesome, thanks for the news! It's amazing how far we've come. They used to say that it was impossible to load GameCube games off an SD card. I of course knew impossible meant "it would take a while."

this sounds interesting for playing GC games from SD,
but since I'm using wiikey fusion (which has better compatablty)

is the compatably of DIOS-MIOS lite the same as wiikey fusion or different?

but one flaw that DIOS MIOS has,

- can't boot games from SD without the need of a disk in wii's drive in order to run.

Wiikey fusion has this advantage over DIOS MIOS:

- can run games from SD without disk in drive, only some drive models can boot from SD and DVD, but not all.

it can't run properly on 4.2v and above, needs to be 4.1v or below.

I think I heard something about kenobigc.bin that you have to have on your emulated nand...

It adds the code handler in, but I'm not 100% sure whether it'd allow you to use the USB Gecko. (It theoretically should)

from wiikey slot directly? no,

but with swiss.iso yes
you need the sd card in the wiikey sd card adapter sold, but if you have the swiss.iso in your wiikey sd card you can load swiss from there and then have usbgecko with an sd with gcgames on it in slot A or B and boot your games from usbgecko in swiss.iso.

We're not discussing Swiss here, we're discussing DIOS MIOS lite. CosmoCortney is asking if you can run the USB Gecko through DML. Also, I was fairly certain you could NOT use the USB gecko through Swiss.
