How many games do you actually finish? I would bet most people these days do not finish the games they start out to play. Earlier this year Chatterx told me his new year's resolution was to beat 10 games by the end of it. At first I thought it was kind of dumb, but then I couldn't think if I actually beat 10 games last year. I've toyed with the idea but I'm taking his resolution on myself. 10 games. 10 months left. Anyone else want to take the challenge?
These can't be games you've beaten before. These all have to be new to you. I'll certainly be platinuming Bayonetta this year, but I beat it on 360 last year so I will not count it on my list.
These games don't have to be recent. No reason I can think of to exclude retro titles. For many of our members there are tons of great games that came out before they were born.
If you will be taking the challenge do not lie about it. There's nothing to gain from doing this except for personal satisfaction, don't deny yourself of even that.
Just remaking the tradition. Sticking with the goal of 15 games this year.
Good luck, guys.
I should probably try this again.
1. Sleeping Dogs
I'm gonna go a step further and try to beat a game on every platform I have the hardware for. PC, PS1, PS2, PS3, Dreamcast, GameCube, Wii, GBA, and DS, here I come!
2. The Amazing Spider-Man (PC)
Finished a few games in my time away.
Dragon Ball Z : Attack of the Saiyans (DS)
Tales of Xillia (PS3)
Paranautical Activity (PC)
Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil
This game is fantastic, I recommend it to anyone with a PS2. Spent the last two days playing it, couldn't put the controller down.
I've been doing good so far. I've beaten 7 games this year and I'm in the middle of 2 right now: Persona 3 Portable and Batman Arkham Asylum.
I never really realized how many of my games went unfinished.
Yoshi's Island DS
