Help with Gamecube clicking noise
« on: April 30, 2013, 08:24:30 AM »
On most of the games in my XenoGC installed Gamecube they work fine with them barely skipping a beat. But when I use Fire Emblem, the thing slows down and starts clicking and whirring. I've burned three discs already, and the last one I used had the t s f fixes done. Is this normal for this game or do I now have to adjust my POT, which I don't really want to do.

Adjusting your laser would fix the issue, it's most likely at a low OHM level.
That's the sound of the laser/motor moving quick to read whatever is on the disc.
I fixed one of my GC's by readjusting it at a higher /playable/ level.
Also note, some media can cause this issue as well.
This happens with allot of games because of said reasons, not just FE
