Does the IRC still work nowadays? I can't seem to find anyone online at the same time that I check out, so I figured it died too :/

Nah we're still alive and kicking, just not very talkative as of late, all have stuff going on IRL that has us AFK frequently.

Traded someone on CraigsList my Rock Band set for this headset. I never used the Rock Band set and this headset sounds really good. It has a very generic name (Sony Wireless Stereo Headset) too.

I actually have the same headset, except mine is called Sony Pulse 7.1 Surround Sound Headset.

The captains have left their posts to pursue 'greater things'... in short, they have abandoned us, brother.
Only three remain, hopefully they can put a stop to it soon and ease your grievance.
Take solace in knowing that something greater is to come...

Forgive me, I've been watching Spartacus ALLOT as of late.
Jupiter's cock... isn't dead.

Just those of us whom have retired don't get the updates that we used to nor do we visit as often as we'd like to be able to. Personally for me I've been extremely busy with YouTube and work as well as making time for a social life.

But don't worry guys, those bots have felt the wrath of my ban hammer and I am still well enough equipped to be able to take these guys out no problem. Don't worry, one way or another I'll be here, lurking in the shadows :P

First game I think I ever felt immersed enough in to tear up was Tales of Symphonia for the Nintendo Gamecube. Most recently The Last of Us. There are games that scattered in between, but none that pop to mind for me right now.

Dolphin Help / Re: Attempting to run first rom and failing
« on: June 18, 2013, 11:36:11 PM »
Hello. *quietly approaches from shame corner* Sorry if this isn't in the right subforum for a question like this, but I'm super confused!
I downloaded Dolphin for gamecube emulators, and downloaded a ROM. I watched a YT video (or 3) on how to extract the files, which should as a result produce an iso file. This is not the case. D: After extracting the file, it produces a gcm, nfo, pnr, 2 winrar files (each containing another gcm), & an sfv. I'm not sure if there's a step I missed or what, considering I've never heard of any of those file types to begin with.

Thank you in advanced for your help and tolerance. :P  Using GBA emulators seem to be infinitely easier.

GCM is a Gamecube Media file which is basically an ISO. Personally I rename my GCM files to ISO, but basically they are the exact same thing. The SFV is a file that allows you to verify the contents of the download completed properly and there wasn't any missing data that would cause any errors. NFO is just the info file.

Just a clarification as well, ROMs are usually pertaining to cartridge games, anything on a disk is considered a disk image, ISO, etc.

Trying to get 280 more Club Nintendo coins, if anyone has any unused coin cards for their Wii, Wii U, 3DS, and DS games, I would really appreciate if I could get them from you!

Also about to play The Last of Us
