Hey guys! Still pop in every-now-and-then to make sure this place hasn't dissapeared from existance.

This Aussie these days lives in London, so if anyone ever wants to catch up or whatever.... let me know. :)

This place will always have a special place in my heart. I still have those rare moments will I'll stop by just to make sure the website is still alive.

Great to see the forum still has some of the usual suspects here. :)

I wish I had more time on my hands to contribute more within the topics.

Definitely were good times though in TPC's prime. Met some top blokes (Aussie saying for guys), and some crazy ones as well. lol

I wish this place could've evolved as it should have. We should have moved away from hacking/game sharing and moved more into game discussions in general. Chatting about different aspects of gaming with top people is what kept me coming back everyday... not the free games.

Don't hesitate in PMing me anytime if you ever want to catch up. :)

In no particular order:

- Golduck
- Blastoise
- Scyther
- Sandslash
- Machamp
- Skarmory
- Sceptile
- Emolga
- Heracross
- Steelix

I know I've forgotten heaps... but I'd put the above Pokemon in my team any day.

Love you man. wouldn't even be running without your hard work poured right back from the old TPC/PBT days.

Really miss the old days... We need to catch up soon Rooskie. :)

Oh hey Ray how's it goin?

Eh...there's a little more to it than that.  The minimum wage in Australia is $15.96 AUD.  The minimum wage in the US is determined by state, but there's a national limit.  The national minimum wage is $7.25 USD.

$98 / $15.96 = 6.15 hours of work for a typical Australian
Assume that game is $60 over here?
$60 / $7.25 = 8.28 hours of work for a typical American

So really, we're paying more already.
Been good man. Sorry I haven't been around.

Fair point on the calculations by the way.

It still doesn't seem fair however that we have to pay usually over 30%+ more for digitally distributed games. In the end seeing as the Australian and US currency is almost exactly the same at the moment, there is no reason why Publishers can do this to us. Just because generally the Australian income is higher, it should not give Publishers the right to rob us.

I used to understand this reasoning for hard copy games, but when it comes to digital distribution... it's just shameful.

This is more for IT products, but hopefully something comes out of the below:

Make games any more expensive here in Australia, and we might as well start playing with marbles again.

Here's an example of a new release game in Australia (Fitting that the game is published by EA):

That's $98 AUSD. At the the current dollar, that is $100.63 USD.

How can these publishers get away with pretty much highway robbery? And then they wonder why people face no option but to get these game illegally. I've heard so many excuses as to why games are so expensive in Australia, but those excuses no longer have a leg to stand on when a game on Steam for example is more expensive for Australians than anywhere else.

From memory I think its based on the 2008 season, but I don't mind much as I find the gameplay on the PSP to be nice and simple.

Since 2008 I've played it every Aussie summer (cricket season).

Playing a few games at the moment:

- Pokemon Black 2 (Weekends only) (DS)
- International Cricket Captain III (Weeknights) (PSP)
- Gravity Rush (Just started) (PS Vita)

Am really wanting to play Persona 4 Golden on PS Vita. It looks awesome.

Great to see more people using Android phones. I remember before I left being on the site fulltime, the amount of users with Android phones was extremely small. Here's some screenshots from my Samsung Galaxy Note:

That "Pure" thing.... is it a maxi pad?

My thoughts...they're completely wrong now.
Just took a look at what it was (As I had no idea LOL). It's some sort of Passion fruit flavoured Body Polish gel. It's probably been there for a couple of years. LOL
